- Discuss and analyse part drawings
- Define suitable tool design
- Program part in NC-FOX
- Prepare bar feeder, guide bush, etc. and set up for the part
- Install tool in the machine, measure the coordinates and enter into the control system
- Read in the CNC program and run on the star* authomatic lathe
- Set up turned part and correct
- Measure turned part and produce 25 to 50 parts (if time is available)
- Carry out MFU (if time is available)
